- Download and install Droid Transfer.
- Open Droid Transfer and click 'Activate' from the top-right of the main window.
- Enter your activation code and click 'Activate'.
- Enter your email address and create a password.
- Click 'Activate Droid Transfer'.

This tutorial guides you through how to activate Droid Transfer on your Windows PC.
Launch Droid Transfer by double clicking on the Droid Transfer icon on your desktop. When the program opens, you will see the 'Activate' button located in the top right-hand side of the window (as seen below). If this button is not visible for you, this means that Droid Transfer is already activated on your PC.
Clicking Activate' will open a window prompting you to input your activation code which you received via email when purchasing Droid Transfer. Enter your activation code in the box and then click 'Activate'. If you don't have an activation code you can purchase one here.
If you don't have your activation code handy, you can use our activation lookup service to find your code.
You will then be asked to enter a password for your activation code, and a recovery email address for your password. This password is for security and anti-piracy reasons, and will only be needed should you need to re-activate Droid Transfer at a later date or on a different computer.
- Enter and then re-enter a password for your activation to confirm it. Please ensure that your password only contains letters and numbers, and is also less than 16 characters long. This password is case-sensitive.
- Next input your email address and again to confirm it. This email is used if you forget your password in the future, when attempting to re-activate Droid Transfer.
- On completion of the above steps, click the 'Activate Droid Transfer' button.
Droid Transfer is now activated! Click 'Continue' to return to Droid Transfer and begin using the software. All trial limitations will now have been removed.
